Week at a Glance - August 18 - August 22
Parent Information
- Volleyball and Boys' Soccer tryouts begin on Monday, August 18, 2025, and will end on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Cheerleading tryouts will be on Wednesday and Thursday of this week from 2:30-5:00 p.m. Tryouts begin immediately after school and end at 5:00 pm. Students will need a completed VHSL Sports Physical to participate in tryouts.

- A code-red drill with local law enforcement will occur this week.

School Dance 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
- If your student is being picked up by someone other than the parent/guardian, please send a written note with your student with pick-up information. They should hold on to the note to give to the PHMS staff member at the Gym exit door.
- Students who have received discipline referrals this week will not be allowed to stay for the dance.
- Students who owe the school money will not be allowed to stay for the dance unless the debt is paid before 2:30 on Friday.
- Students will not be allowed to call home to request permission to stay for the dance or to request money to be dropped off at the school.
- The school dress code does apply.
- Admission is $5. Refreshments will be sold during the dance at a separate cost.
- Tickets will be sold in advance during lunch on Wednesday - Friday.
- To pick up your student, parents will need to enter the building using the cafeteria entrance. Students will be in the gym for you to pick up.
- Students who are not staying for the entirety of the dance should be picked up by 4:00.
